The Aviation Ground Handlers Association of Nigeria (AGHAN) has restarted providing services to MaxAir (Nigeria) (VM, Katsina) after the airline "commenced negotiations with our members and paid a substantial amount of money out of its debts". The ground handling providers stopped servicing the carrier, except for its Hajj charters, on June 12, effectively grounding the only B737-500 still active for the airline. The aircraft, 5N-DMK (msn 28055), has been active again since June 14. The airline continues to operate a single B747-400, which plies Hajj services from Yola and Kano to Jeddah International.
