Royal Air (Comoros) launched its first scheduled flights to the African mainland on June 15, 2026. The 4x weekly route between Moroni International and Dar es Salaam will be operated using Royal Air’s sole DHC-8-Q200, which it wet leases from Kenya's Renegade Air. Friday flights will arrive in Dar es Salaam carrying passengers, and return to Moroni carrying only cargo. Thus far, the young carrier’s route network has been limited to interisland services in the Comoros and to Mayotte.
