KM Malta Airlines (KM, Malta International) has contracted Bird Aviation for its heavy maintenance, including C-checks, the MRO firm said in a statement. The three-year agreement will see KM Malta Airlines’ fleet use Bird Aviation’s Larnaca facilities.

The two companies have been cooperating on maintenance for a while, but without a long-term agreement. KM Malta Airlines last sent one of its A320-200Ns to Bird Aviation in February 2026, ch-aviation data shows.
