Asiana Airlines (OZ, Seoul Incheon) will leave Star Alliance on December 16, 2026, after more than 23 years in the alliance, as a result its merger with Skyteam member Korean Air (KE, Seoul Incheon). Frequent-flyer mileage accrual, award redemptions, upgrades, alliance status benefits, and eligible lounge access on Asiana Airlines will remain available until that date. A day later, Asiana Airlines will be absorbed into Korean Air.
