Sister-company of US lessor AMTRA Aero, AMTRA Aero Component Solutions, has acquired a former Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras A330-200 for part-out, with plans to provide Used Serviceable Material (USM) to airlines, maintenance organisations, and aviation asset owners.

According to ch-aviation data, the 23.4-year-old aircraft, N529CG (msn 529), was last owned by Cargo Aircraft Management. Besides Azul, former operators include Turkish Airlines, Gulf Air, and the launch customer MEA - Middle East Airlines, who took delivery of the A330 in May 2003.

The aircraft is equipped with Rolls-Royce RB211 Trent 772B-60 engines.
