Avelo Airlines (XP, Burbank) has announced it will establish a new base at Dallas McKinney, becoming Colin County’s first and only locally based airline.

It will begin commercial operations on November 11, with nonstop flights to Las Vegas Harry Reid (4x weekly), Fort Lauderdale International (5x weekly), Fort Myers Southwest Florida (2x weekly), Orlando International (5x weekly), and Tampa International (4x weekly), using two B737-800s based at the airport and creating over 100 new local jobs.
