TUI fly (Belgium) (TB, Brussels National) will close its base at Antwerp airport on March 25, 2027, to focus its Belgian operations at Brussels National and Ostend. The leisure carrier said this would increase efficiency and ensure more productive fleet use, but will not result in any job losses. The airline currently deploys its E195-E2s out of Antwerp, as the airport cannot support narrowbody jet operations. The airline confirmed to ch-aviation that the regional jets will be redeployed to other routes. Antwerp airport said it would seek new operators, while also seeking to diversify operations through a larger focus on general aviation, military, and humanitarian flights.
