Saudia (SV, Jeddah International) and Garuda Indonesia (GA, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) have agreed to work on expanding their collaboration, especially in terms of “network planning, flight schedules between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, sales, marketing, and distribution in markets of mutual interest.” The two carriers will also work together on single-ticket travel, loyalty programmes, technology infrastructure, airport services, and services for Umrah and Hajj guests travelling between the two countries. The cooperation comes on top of existing codeshares and shared Skyteam membership.
