Cathay Pacific (CX, Hong Kong International) has postponed the resumption of passenger flights from Hong Kong International to Dubai International and Riyadh amid the re-escalating conflict in the Middle East. Daily Dubai flights will restart on October 25, 2026, and 4x weekly Riyadh services on October 26, instead of September 1. Meanwhile, Cathay Cargo has deferred the planned August 1 resumption of its Riyadh cargo service, with no revised date disclosed. The group suspended passenger and cargo operations to both cities on February 28 when the United States-Israel-Iran conflict sparked.
