Israir (6H, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion) has won a public service obligation (PSO) tender to operate regular flights from Eilat Ramon to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion, the Israeli Ministry of Transport announced. The value of the tender is ILS40 million (USD13 million). The low-cost carrier will operate at least four daily return flights between the resort town and the Israeli capital, although committed to operating five daily flights during the bidding process. Israir will launch the route by August 27, 2026, after which it will remain in operation for one year from the contract's start date. Eliat residents will receive discounted tickets and reserved seats on the route.
