Air China (CA, Beijing Capital) will launch a 3x weekly fifth-freedom service connecting Beijing Capital, Copenhagen Kastrup, and Reykjavik Keflavik on October 26, 2026. According to ch-aviation data, the route will be operated using A330-300 aircraft. The new flights will operate in addition to Air China's existing daily service between Beijing Capital and Copenhagen. While no other carrier currently operates direct flights between China and Iceland, Air China will face competition from regional carriers on the fifth-freedom segment between Copenhagen and Reykjavik.
