Volotea (V7, Barcelona El Prat) will open a base at Ancona, where it will station one A320-200 as of December 2026. The low-cost airline has been operating out of Ancona since 2012 and currently serves Catania, Olbia, Palermo International, Madrid Barajas, Barcelona El Prat, and Paris Orly from the airport. It intends to increase the number of destinations served from the base but has yet to announce its new destinations.
