Private jet charter, aircraft management, and maintenance specialist SC Aviation (COL, Janesville) has acquired fellow private aviation company Heartland Aviation (NTC, Eau Claire).

“Heartland Aviation has built a strong reputation in the Eau Claire region, and this acquisition allows us to combine that local expertise with SC Aviation's resources and network to better serve our customers throughout the Upper Midwest,” said Adam Singer, vice president and general manager of SC Aviation.

Heartland Aviation's Part 135-certified fleet currently comprises a Citation III inducted in mid-2025 and three Citation VIIs, including one added in early 2026. The company further manages other aircraft that are not available for charter.

“When I looked at who could give this operation the best platform to grow, SC Aviation was the clear answer,” said Nick Fancher, president and CEO of Heartland Aviation.

SC Aviation's Part 135 certificate covers 20 aircraft, comprising a Challenger 300, three Challenger 350s including one inducted in late 2025, two Falcon 2000s, a Falcon 7X, two Hawker 750s, three Hawker 800XPs, three Hawker 800XPis, and five Hawker 850XPs, one of which was added in early 2026. Like Heartland, SC Aviation also manages aircraft that are not currently Part 135-certified.

Although Heartland Aviation will continue operating under the same name, it remains unclear whether the two Part 135 certificates will be consolidated. As part of the acquisition, SC Aviation plans to add aircraft at Eau Claire in the coming months.

SC Aviation is part of Colony Brands, a multichannel direct-marketing and e-commerce catalogue company formerly known as The Swiss Colony.
