Skyway Airlines (Philippines) (SR, Angeles City Clark International) plans to add seven freighters by 2030, expanding its fleet to 10 aircraft, including a B767-300F, according to a report by the Manila Bulletin citing business development and external affairs director Vedant Bhardwaj.

Subject to fuel prices, the carrier reportedly hopes to add two aircraft in 2026, two in 2027, and three thereafter, backed by an investment commitment of at least USD10 million over four years.

In September 2025, founder and chief executive Jose Angelo Peralta exclusively told ch-aviation that the airline would consider a B767 after expanding its B737 fleet to three aircraft. Its third freighter, B737-400(SF) RP-C3999 (msn 25773), arrived in July 2026 and now operates alongside two B737-400(BDSF)s.

Skyway Airlines currently operates flights to Hong Kong International, Shenzhen, Davao, Cagayan de Oro Laguindingan from both Manila Ninoy Aquino International and Angeles City Clark International. In the longer term, the carrier is considering adding routes to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and India.

Bhardwaj noted that e-commerce accounts for 60% to 70% of inbound cargo. He added that while congestion at Manila airport had previously affected customers, the cargo backlog dropped from 60-70% to around 20% by late July.

Additionally, the airline has held talks with Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corporation regarding becoming a future locator at Cargo City, a planned 130-hectare integrated cargo and logistics hub at Clark airport. The airport operator expects to complete the master plan by the end of 2026 and begin operations within five years.
