United Parcel Service has applied to the US Department of Transportation to transfer 6x weekly fifth-freedom cargo frequencies for services between Hong Kong International and Angeles City Clark International. Under the bilateral agreement, US cargo operators are limited to 64x weekly fifth-freedom frequencies in Hong Kong, with none currently available. To launch the route, UPS proposes transferring 4x weekly frequencies from Hong Kong-Warsaw Chopin and 2x weekly frequencies from Hong Kong-Hanoi Noi Bai International. It plans to operate the year-round service with B767 freighters.
