IndiGo Airlines (6E, Delhi International) completed Navi Mumbai International's first dedicated freighter service on August 2, 2026, using A321-200(P2F) VT-IKX (msn 3334) on a Bengaluru International-Navi Mumbai-Sharjah-Delhi International rotation, ADS-B data shows. The airport previously handled international cargo on July 15 through passenger belly capacity aboard an Air India Express flight to Abu Dhabi International. The expansion comes as cargo operators shift services from Mumbai International. Operators Lufthansa Cargo, AeroLogic, Malaysia Airlines, Air France, and Saudia have filed to move dedicated freighter services to Navi Mumbai in the second half of 2026.
