Air Astana Group expects zero aircraft groundings related to Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engine issues in 2027, after groundings fell by around 60% year-on-year. It secured 11 additional engines in the first half of 2026 and expects more than three times the 11 engine inductions completed in 2025, the group disclosed in a press release.

According to ch-aviation data, mainline carrier Air Astana (KC, Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev) operates a fleet of 35 aircraft, including eleven A320-200Ns, three A321-200s, four A321-200Ns, one A321-200NX, thirteen A321-200NX(LR)s, and three B767-300ERs. Its low-cost subsidiary, FlyArystan (FS, Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev), operates 28 aircraft, comprising fifteen A320-200s and thirteen A320-200Ns.
