PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (PK, Islamabad International) will add two aircraft on a six-month wet lease from October 2026 as the newly privatised airline pushes ahead with plans to grow its fleet and expand its network. The lease for the two as-yet-undisclosed units, which will be deployed on the airline's routes to Europe, comes as PIA is reportedly close to confirming an order for sixteen B787s. The airline has previously said it plans to increase its fleet to 60 aircraft amid ongoing efforts to restore parked jets to service.
