The French government's defence procurement agency (Direction générale de l'armement - DGA) has taken delivery of the first two of 12 ordered Falcon 2000(Albatros) maritime surveillance aircraft, based on the Falcon 2000LXS platform. The brand-new aircraft carry military markings 395 (msn 395) and 415 (msn 415) and will be operated by the French Navy's air branch, Aéronavale.

In December 2020, the DGA placed an initial order with Dassault Aviation for seven Falcon 2000(Albatros) under the Maritime Surveillance and Intervention Aircraft (Avion de Surveillance et d'Intervention Maritime - AVSIMAR) programme, with options for five additional units, firmed in September 2025. Deliveries are scheduled to be completed by 2031.
