Freebird Airlines (FH, Istanbul Airport) has launched a daily winter programme linking Aswan in Egypt with seven German cities. The first flight, operated by A320-200, 9H-FHB (msn 3025), via Freebird Airlines Europe (MI, Malta International), arrived from Stuttgart on September 14, 2026, before continuing to Berlin Brandenburg. The programme also covers Düsseldorf, Frankfurt International, Munich, Hamburg, and Hannover. Freebird is the only carrier linking Aswan directly with Germany, while Nesma Airlines provides a European connection to Madrid Barajas, according to ADS-B data.
