GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (G3, São Paulo Congonhas) launched its first long-haul route to Europe on September 16-17, 2026, between Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro International, with A330-200 EC-MAJ (msn 992) wet leased from fellow Abra Group carrier Wamos Air, ADS-B data confirms. Flight G37021 departed Lisbon at 2330L (1030Z) on September 16 and arrived at Rio de Janeiro at 0530L (0830Z) on September 17. GOL already wet leases another A330-200, EC-NBN (msn 818), from Wamos, which flies between Rio and New York JFK. The route between Rio and Lisbon is also served by TAP Portugal as a codeshare with Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, while LATAM Airlines connects Lisbon with São Paulo Guarulhos.
