Kyrgyzstan plans to lift its moratorium on certifying new airlines, with the State Civil Aviation Agency drafting a presidential decree to repeal the restriction. As ch-aviation previously reported, President Sadyr Japarov imposed the moratorium in November 2024, pending an audit of Kyrgyz-certified airlines operating predominantly abroad. The restriction remains in force until a new presidential decree is issued.
