The proposed integration of Pelita Air (IP, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) into Garuda Indonesia (GA, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) will not be completed in 2026, chief operating officer of sovereign wealth fund Danantara Indonesia, Dony Oskaria, said on September 29. He added that there had been no new progress on the plan. The consolidation, which would also include Citilink (QG, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) under a Garuda-led state-owned airline holding, was initially targeted to take place in the first quarter of 2026. Garuda said in August that the transaction structure remained under review by shareholders and other parties.
