Air Europa (UX, Palma de Mallorca) has combined its internal line maintenance and heavy maintenance divisions into a single unit called Air Europa Technics, combining supply chains and buying power to increase leverage with suppliers, improve relationships with OEMs, and widen its service offering. The new MRO unit, which is part of Air Europa's +Air28 strategic plan, aims to drive sustained growth and adapt its capabilities for the incorporation of A350-900s into the carrier’s fleet. Air Europa currently has 20 units of the Airbus widebody on firm order, having signed an MOU for up to 40 aircraft in late 2025.
