Emirates (EK, Dubai International) has secured a licence to operate non-scheduled international charter services between the United Arab Emirates and Canada, following an October 22, 2026, decision by the Canadian Transportation Agency. The licence permits charter operations between the two countries but prohibits domestic carriage within Canada. Emirates already operates scheduled passenger flights from Dubai International to Toronto Pearson and Montréal Trudeau, as well as weekly freighter services between Dubai World Central and Toronto Pearson.
