Red Wings Airlines (WZ, Moscow Domodedovo) expects to resume flight operations with effect from June 15, using a fleet of two Tu-204-100s. The airline had its operating licence suspended in February in the wake of a Red Wings Tu-204 crash that killed five crew members. Since then, in addition to undergoing a change in ownership, the airline has moved to rectify "multiple significant violations" discovered by the Russian Federal Air Transportation Agency in an inspection following the December plane crash at Moscow Vnukovo. It is understood that Red Wings will now be focusing on the Low Cost sector.
