TUI fly (Germany) (X3, Hannover) parent company, TUI Travel, is likely to firm up options for ninety Boeing 737 MAXs, group CEO Peter Long has said. The order would add to a previous USD6.09billion deal for 60 of the type, set to include both the MAX 8 and MAX 9 versions. TUI operates 141 aircraft across six European airlines - Thomson Airways (London Luton), TUI fly (Germany) (X3, Hannover), TUI fly Nordic (6B, Stockholm Arlanda), Arke Fly (Amsterdam Schiphol), Corsair International (Paris Orly) and Jetairfly (Brussels National) - and said the new planes would boost fuel efficiency.
