Colombe Airlines (Ouagadougou) has been selected by the Burkina Faso government to operate the country's Hajj & Umrah services with the first flights due in September. Ethiopian Airlines (ET, Addis Ababa International) has also been appointed an official operator. Launched in June 2012, Colombe (Dove) Airlines is a subsidiary of Arpari Cavo Ltd, a Burkinabe consortium specializing in mining, aviation, construction and the export of gold, and plans to service "all major African cities" in the long term. As of this writing, its fleet make-up is currently unknown.
