Air Manas (MBB, Bishkek) has acquired a B737 from Turkish operator, Pegasus Airlines (PC, Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen), the airline's president, Ilgar Alptekin, has announced. The aircraft, the airline's third in addition to two Tu-154s, will be used to launch domestic flights to Batken along with regional flights to Esfahan Shahid Beheshti International in Iran and Russia with effect from November 25. As a 49% shareholder in the Kyrgyz carrier, Pegasus operates scheduled flights between Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen and Bishkek under the Pegasus Asia (Bishkek) brand.
