easyJet (London Luton) has announced the signing of a codeshare agreement, its first ever, with Russia's Transaero Airlines (Moscow Vnukovo). According to the UK-based LCC, the agreement was signed by Olga Pleshakova, the CEO of Transaero Airlines, and Chris Kennedy, the Chief Financial Officer for easyJet, and entails Transaero Airlines distributing an undisclosed number of seats on easyJet's Moscow Domodedovo - London Gatwick route. The agreement is effective October 27, 2013. easyJet operates two daily A320-200 services on the route.
