Northern Star Aviation (Aalborg) is mulling taking on SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) on domestic Aarhus to Copenhagen Kastrup flights as it believes the fares and frequencies currently being offered are "not good enough." According to CHECK-IN.dk, chairman of the board, Jens Blauenschild, said the start-up is also in talks with an undisclosed British investment firm over a possible USD350million capital injection. Initially, Northern Star Aviation had planned to enter the air taxi, cargo & air ambulance markets using three CRJ200s and three B757-200s.
