Aerocon (Santa Cruz El Trompillo) will respect any sanctions imposed on it following an in-depth review of the airline's operations; a consequence of the recent crash of the operator's Swearingen Metroliner III, CP-2754 (msn AC-721B), at Riberalta, Bolivia which killed eight people. The statement, made by Aerocon CEO, Nelson Kinn, comes after Bolivian president Evo Morales personally called for "drastic" sanctions for the airline. The accident is currently being investigated by the Bolivian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil - DGAC).
