Pskovavia (Pskov) will launch direct An-24 services from St. Petersburg to Kursk and Petrozavodsk Besovets beginning February 12. The flights, which will initially operate twice weekly before moving to 3x weekly in April, are subsidized by the Russian government. Pskovavia began offering scheduled passenger operations out of St Petersburg to Kirovsk/Apatity, Pskov, Vologda and Bryansk in August 2013.
