Goldstar Airlines (Accra) has pushed back its planned launch date from early June to early July owing to what it termed "an unforeseen delay by some authority on some paperwork beyond management control."

The Ghanaweb news portal says at some point, a press conference will be held in London, Baltimore, Guangzhou and Accra to give the exact date of the maiden flight.

The start-up will reportedly operate an MD-11 and a B747 on flights connecting its Accra hub with London Gatwick, Baltimore International, and Guangzhou.
