Aerolíneas Argentinas (AR, Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery) is planning to deploy its fleet of A330-200s on flights to Europe with effect from next year. In an interview with Spain's Agent Travel magazine, the Argentine carrier's Spanish station manager, Fernando Ortiz, also noted that two A340-300s currently dedicated to its European network will have their interiors completely overhauled and revamped during the second half of 2015.

Aerolineas serves Madrid Barajas, Barcelona El Prat, and Rome Fiumicino in Europe.

"Next year will see a big change in the quality of flights to Spain and Europe," he said adding that the move will bring uniformity to Aerolineas Argentinas' longhaul offering.

The ch-aviation route database shows the carrier's A330s are currently used on services to Ushuaia domestically and to Bogotá, Miami International, and New York JFK internationally.
