Transaero Airlines (Moscow Vnukovo) signed a Letter of Intent with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for eight A330ceos and twelve A330neos at the ongoing Farnborough International Airshow 2014. With the agreement, Transaero becomes the first European airline to commit to the A330neo.
Though predominantly a Boeing (BOE, Washington National) operator, Transaero intends to replace its fleet of B737-300s and B737-400s with eight A320neos. It also has four A380-800s on order and due for delivery from late 2015 onwards.
