Aviateca Guatemala (GU, Guatemala City) added a first ATR72-600, TG-TRC (cn 1167), to its existing fleet of two ATR42-300(QC)s on July 24. According to Skyliner Aviation, the turboprop was ferried direct from the ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac) factory to Guatemala City via Sal Amilcar Cabral International and Tenerife Sur.
The TACA International Airlines (San Salvador International) subsidiary operates scheduled regional passenger flights throughout Central America on behalf of Avianca (Bogotá) and LACSA Costa Rica (San José Juan Santamaría).
