Scoot (TR, Singapore Changi) has brought forward its inaugural B787-9 operations to January 2015 Airline Route reports. The Singapore Airlines (SQ, Singapore Changi) subsidiary will now tentatively begin Dreamliner operations on January 1 with flights to Hong Kong International and Perth International.

Services to Bangkok Don Mueang and Gold Coast Coolangatta are still scheduled to launch in April while Tianjin, and Shenyang Taoxian International via Qingdao Jiaodong, are set for a late May debut.

The budget carrier has ten B787-9s, the first of which is due for delivery in November, and ten B787-8s, the first of which is due in mid-2015, on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National).
