GX Airlines (GX, Nanning) took delivery of its first E190 last week. According to Skyliner Aviation, B-3215 (cn 19000591) was ferried from Tianjin to Nanning on Sunday, February 1. The aircraft is one of three on lease from the airline's 70% shareholder, Tianjin Airlines (GS, Tianjin).
Once it has completed certification with the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), GX Airlines plans to operate both domestic and international passenger and cargo flights from its Nanning hub. Its maiden route - Nanning to Haikou - is scheduled for later this month.
