Air France-KLM would be open to discuss joining the Castlelake bid for easyJet Group, should the investment holding decide to pursue the acquisition. Chief executive Ben Smith stressed, however, that at this stage the group is not involved in the discussions. Air France-KLM cooperated with Castlelake during the 2023 acquisition of SAS Scandinavian Airlines during that airline's Chapter 11 restructuring.
