GoJet Airlines (G7, St. Louis Lambert International) has announced it will operate seven CRJ900s for and on behalf of Delta Air Lines (DL, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson) under its Delta Connection banner. Deliveries are slated to begin in June of 2015 and continue through October.
“We’re delighted to build upon our current relationship with Delta with the addition of these aircraft to our fleet, and look forward to the opportunities that this growth will provide to our employees,” Richard Leach, President and Chief Executive Officer of GoJet Airlines, said.
Delta is currently in the process of optimizing its domestic fleet with focus on reducing the overall number of 50-seat regional jets.
GoJet Airlines currently operates a fleet of forty-seven dual-class CRJ700s of which twenty-two are in service for Delta.
