Globaltrans Air (Ho Chi Minh City) is a Vietnamese start-up looking to offer charter flights throughout the country using a pair of Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 200s on order from Beechcraft (Wichita Beech Factory).

Established in July 2014, the start-up is backed by local investors with VND100 billion (USD4.7 million) in initial capital. Last week, the Vietnamese Ministry of Transport awarded Globaltrans Air its business license; a prerequisite for it to secure an Air Operators Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (Cục Hàng không Dân dụng Việt Nam - CAAV).
