Sea Air (Croatia) (Osijek) has once more delayed the launch of scheduled passenger services after it missed its previous July 19 date. According to the carrier's website, it has now scheduled August 9 for the launch of passenger flights from its Osijek base to Stuttgart Manfred Rommel, Munich, and Frankfurt International in Germany using 9H-AJW (msn 28733), a B737-300 it has chartered from Malta's Maleth-Aero (DB, Malta International).

“We are aware that, after changing our launch date on several occasions, we have lost the trust of many passengers and that the public is highly sceptical of our flights," the airline said in a statement to EX-YU Aviation News. “We are asking our passengers for their understanding and patience. Sea Air is a new company. We could not foresee some of the difficulties that we have faced, which came as an unwelcome surprise to us, while some were beyond our control”.

In the interim, Sea Air has been running cargo flights between the Balkans and the Middle East using a Tu-204(F) chartered from Egypt's Cairo Aviation (Cairo International).
