Solaseed Air (6J, Miyazaki) will indeed commence international operations later this year with the launch of charter flights between its Miyazaki hub and Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
According to the ZipanguFlyer blog, Solaseed will operate two return flights - on October 17 and 20 - as part of a three-nights/four-days package tour. Miyakoh Group, which owns 24% of Solaseed, will market the tours in Japan while JPK International Air Service, based in Taipei, has been contracted for sales in Taiwan.
At present, the carrier uses a fleet of twelve B737-800s to connect Okinawa Naha and Tokyo Haneda with Kagoshima, Kobe, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki, and Nagasaki.
