Transaero Airlines (Moscow Vnukovo) has taken delivery of its first A321-200 (SL) - EI-VKO (cn 6678) - with the aircraft now in Bratislava undergoing a partial repaint. Once complete, the twinjet will then be ferried to Russia where it is scheduled to begin commercial operations between Moscow Vnukovo and Almaty International, Kazakhstan on July 31.
Transaero is leasing six of the type from China's ICBC Leasing with the remaining five airframes to be delivered between now and March 2016.
