Amaszonas Paraguay (Asunción) has inaugurated operations with its maiden flight from Asunción to Ciudad del Este lifting off on Wednesday, September 9. The start-up says full commercial operations will commence on Wednesday, September 23 with double daily weekday flights between the two Paraguayan cities which scale down to daily flights on weekends.

International flights to Campo Grande International, Foz do Iguaçu International in Brazil, Córdoba International and Posadas in Argentina, and Santa Cruz Viru Viru in Bolivia are expected to launch before year-end.

The start-up currently operates a single aircraft - EC-ITU (cn 7866) - which is a CRJ200 sourced from Air Nostrum (YW, Valencia Manises) as part of its partnership with Amaszonas (AZN, La Paz El Alto) in the Inversiones Líneas Aéreas Internacionales SL consortium.
