NordStar (Y7, Norilsk) has announced plans to develop Moscow into a focus city beginning this winter. According to the carrier, daily flights to Sochi, Krasnodar, Rostov Platov, Mineralnye Vody, Makhachkala, and Kazan International will launch effective October 25. Operations are on-board B737-800 aircraft.
Founded by Norilsk Nickel in 2009 as a full-service carrier, NordStar operates a fleet of seven ATR72-500/600s, one B737-300, and nine B737-800s on flights throughout Russia as well as to Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and China.
