European Coastal Airlines (Split) has announced it will commence international passenger flights with effect from November 13.
The Croatian seaplane operator said in a statement that it would operate a 4x weekly return service from Rijeka Airport and its downtown Split seaplane base to Ancona airport on Italy's Adriatic coast. Flights are on-board the carrier's fleet of Grumman Goose and DHC-6 amphibians.
Launched in August 2014, ECA operates a seaplane flights on an extensive Croatian domestic network which includes Rijeka, Mali Losinj, Jelsa, Latovo, Pula, Resnik, Vela Luka, and Zadar.
