Avianca Brasil (São Paulo Congonhas) has set a Tuesday, November 24 date for its last F100 commercial flight - Brasília Juscelino Kubitschek International-São Paulo Congonhas. Celebrities onboard will include airline CEO and chairman of Avianca Holdings, Jose Efromovich.
Avianca Brasil's eight remaining Fokker 100s - legacy machines from the days of predecessor OceanAir (Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont) - are being replaced by A320 Family jets. At present, the Fokker Aircraft (Woensdrecht) are used on flights connecting Brasilia, Goiânia, São Paulo Congonhas, and São Paulo Guarulhos.
