Wizz Air (W6, Budapest) will open its twenty-third base in Europe in Iasi, Romania with one A320-200 beginning July 1 of next year.
With the aircraft's arrival, so new routes to Bologna, Catania, Larnaca, Rome Ciampino, and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion will be introduced while frequencies on existing routes to London Luton and Milan Bergamo will also be increased.
The airline hopes the development will stimulate the local aviation job market as well as the tourism sector.
